One of my favorite things about African dramatic form is that it begins the work of engaging the writer’s imagination with the machinery that guides her creativity to propagate racism. In order to write racist stories or promote racist imagery using ADF, a writer has to want that outcome.
Another, is that it opens the writer to “knowing” and “owning” her story without the shame of knowledge but with all of the romance that comes with acquiring it.
The ADF Help Desk puts “common writing problems” through the ADF lens. Submit 1500 words from your work-in-progress to be featured on the podcast.
